Photographing Naughty Dogs, the title of my article is a little misleading, as I myself don’t believe there is such a thing as a naughty dog.But a lot of my mum’s and
dad’s (dog owners) start the conversation by telling me “oh you’ll never get a picture of my dog” “he’s/she’s so naughty ” or ” I’d love to book a photo shoot with you
but there’s no point, my dog never stays still,” “never listens” ” is a difficult dog” and plenty more comments in that vein.
I hope you find this information about photographing naughty dogs useful and it helps to reassure how achievable it really is because 99% of my photographs are taken of these energetic, excitable, easily distracted, supposedly naughty doggies. Puppies too, as seen in the image below. Together we can and we will capture beautiful images of your fur baby.
IMAGINATION, PATIENCE, PASSION, CREATIVITY, ARTISTIC VISION AND THE DESIRE TO SUCCEED, MAKE ANYTHING POSSIBLE.
Ronnie the Boxer Dog was here, there and everywhere. We had no other option but to keep him on the lead. A little help from Photoshop and the lead and collar are gone. See below.
My dalmation Lily, will always avoid the camera if she can but with a little patience, I always manage to capture her whilst out on our walks. I use a Nikon camera and lenses for all my portrait sessions.
